Some parents believe children should indulge in educational activities in their leisure for recreation, otherwise, it is wasted. Through this essay I am going to deeply explain the advantages and disadvantages of such recreational activities.

Learning tends to improve knowledge in children, as they have better brain development when they are young. It tends to improve their brain function which will result in analysing given situation in a better way and making a better decision. For example, Children who starts reading books in a younger age has shown fine improvement in their vocabulary and displayed great creativity. Reading also improves speaking skills in children.

On the other hand, overindulging in the said activities will also cause distraught in children. In the long run, Kids will start showing disinterest in their daily activities too. For instance, if an individual is forced to utilise all the free time just for reading books, will automatically make the child lose interest in the hobby and will also start hating idea of books and the experience will create a withdrawal for that individual in all other activities.

Educational activities for recreation during leisure is as important as kids utilising these times for their own interests. These tuitional activities should be planned and the children should be given freedom to choose their own hobbies to improve their mental health. Through the above given pros and cons, I would like to conclude that this free time should be planned to include both educational and other activities.
