Unquestionably, every coin has two sides and so are the people. Society’s people are divided into two groups and therefore, the undermining human judgement due to rising use of artificial intelligence for decision making in some areas has become a topic of debate among people. This essay will compare and contrast both of the opinions along with my opinion which is in the favour of former view will be discussed in a sensible conclusion.
Initiating with the points supporting first school of thought, firstly, artificial intelligence makes our life much better and make the industry more automatic. The people who support this say that, artificial inteligence already automated the work of cashiers and roughly 10 percent of tellers were replaced by robots. Secondly, synthetic intellect relies on real data science and makes decisions only be using science-based knowledge. In fact, majority of businesses are replacing people with machine intelligence such as Claude or OpenAI. As a consequence , it is better to use expert systems in science-based and spheres like engineering or finance.
On its contrasting side, people who held another view point say that human-made intelligence is not able to make important decisions instead of people. They believe that, the human judgement plays crucial role in spheres which are relied to decision-making. Furthermore, the provided experiment by Harvard University in 2025 resulted that artificial intelligence make more mistakes than professionals.
To conclude, I would like to say that, the artificial intelligence cannot fully replace people. However, it will depend upon the mindsets of the people that which view they are in favour of.
