There is an opinion that companies and private individuals should pay for cleaning up the pollution instead of government.From my point of view, this is absolutely not true because government need to restrict individuals by laws to prevent pollution. In addition, mostly companies, which harm environment, produce products that boost country’s economy.
The first reason why I am doubt that authority needs to regulate laws about pollution.Because, without relevant restrictions on the release of garbage in public places, waste in water, and gases in the air, people will continue to harm the environment. In addition, the punishment for his should also be strict. For example, Japanese authority gives from 3 days to 2 weeks in prison for spitting on the street. Likewise, in Singapore, companies that destroy ecosystem by wasting it, punished by a fine and several years of imprisonment. As a result, they do not pay a lot to clean up pollution that people produced.
Secondly, government should provide sufficient conditions to sorting garbage and filtration in production factories. Because, I think it is significant aspect in purity of country. Personally, I like to use boxes for sorting and once a month take all paper at home to special places for reuse.It is just few minutes for us, but it is a big step in protecting our planet.
In conclusion, I totally disagree with statement that factories or individual persons should pay for clean up of streets. Because, it is fully depends on conditions that government gives.
