Band 6+: Some people argue that governments should focus on domestic matters, while others believe that addressing global issues is more important.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Nowadays people hold various viewpoints regarding the kinds of issues that governments have to focus on solving, whether on domestic or global issues. I, however, believe that it would be better if governments pay more attention to regional than worldwide troubles.

On the one hand, it is true that it might be a good option if governing bodies concrete more on international dilemmas for several justifiable causes. For one thing, a higher number of public sectors looking out for global-scale matters means higher rates of cooperation, which in turn significantly eases the hardships mostly related to factors like funding. Furthermore, since this kinda behavior remarkably promotes the sense of cooperativeness, it would also be much easier for some developing countries to get support from the developed ones. Another reasonable factor for opting to resolve transnational challenges is the amount of time spent on dealing with each of the complications. The less time allocated on a specific setback leaves more time for others to be sorted out efficiently.

On the other hand, opting out supranational debates for local ones is even more beneficial. Some authorities have been being mindful of internal controversies and it already demonstrated how advantageous it is. Among the merits, first and foremost is the economical side of figuring out the disputes, meaning the smaller the scale of concerns, the lower the amount of money required for rectification. In addition to this, they might spend the capital left from clearing up the complications to other resource-intensive fields, such as enhancing the infrastructure of the specific areas. Eventually, these efforts, unlike the intercontinental, in-country obstacles have a lower possibility of causing any kinds of disagreement among separate nations, which is quite common when signing a contract regarding some kind of co-operative campaign.

To conclude, though keeping an eye on world-rangind predicaments has some pros, I assume that staying alert about in-nation ones is a better alternative.
