In today’s world, there is a doubt among people. Some consider that governments should concentrate on local matters, whereas others think that pay attention to global problems is more vital. When it comes to me, I think that local issues more crucial for authorities to addressing.
On the one hand, nowadays worldwide problems are in the center of world eye. These kind of concerns affect multiple contries or the entire world, and ussualy require international cooperation to solve. For example, now there are many ongoing researchs on global climate changes. Because the weather is become hotter year by year and as a result it damages forests and ice islands. In addition, war between nations is also a big issue in today’s world.
On the other hand, domestic matters are should investigate and solve by governments. Because they refer to concerns that happen within a specific country and primarily affect that country’s internal affairs. For instance, education policies and healthcare systems are main cases on local range. Authority can solve these subjects by introducing new facilities or enforce laws, but global problems cannot fix by only one or two countries’ efforts. So that’s why, I believe local range issues always should come first.
In conclusion, although many people argue that global issues are more important, I firmly hold the view that, governments firstly pay attention to internal affairs.
