Many employers advertise vacancies online, and without internet access, the unemployed are unable to view or apply for these positions. Having a mobile phone with internet access allows individuals to search for jobs anytime and anywhere, increasing the chances of finding suitable employment. Additionally, many jobs now require online applications, making internet access a basic requirement for job seekers.

Secondly, providing mobile phones and internet access can help the unemployed gain new skills. There are numerous free or affordable online courses and tutorials available that can teach valuable skills such as computer literacy, communication, and even specific job-related training. With access to these resources, individuals can improve their qualifications and become more competitive in the job market.

In conclusion, I believe that offering mobile phones and internet access to unemployed people is a wise investment of public money. It gives individuals the tools and opportunities they need to search for jobs, improve their skills, and eventually become productive members of society.
