In today’s advanced world, some people feel that traveling to distant locations, such as the South Pole, is possible for travelers and scientists. However, others think that this phenomenon is only advantageous for minor circles. There are valid arguments on both sides, on which I will consider in this essay.
On the one hand, the proponents of this phenomenon said that visiting remote areas has a lot of advantages. Firstly, since this trip is interesting and novel, going to cities or states is becoming old-fashioned. For travelers, it might be more fascinating for them to explore new places such as the South Pole or the Amazon rainforest. This experience gives them valuable and unforgettable memories. Moreover, acquiring more knowledge about natural habitats is possible for people, especially scientists, when visiting isolated areas. To illustrate, when coming to the North Pole, intellectual people can gain knowledge about the habitat of polar bears that live distant from humans.
On the other hand, some people believe that traveling to remote natural environments has far more disadvantages. A major drawback is that there are a large number of risks and dangers in such places, especially for unprepared travelers. For example, the low temperature in the South Pole can affect people’s health. Furthermore, they also have to face the risk of being attacked by animals when traveling to forests. In addition, the cost of travelling tends to be high since this requires much money in researching and ensuring the safety of travelers. In the end, it seems that only affluent people and scientists can afford this activity.
To sum up, it seems to me that coming to distant places is not necessary. This because it has many risks and needs a large amount of investment.
