In our globalized world, the tug of war between staying at home or heading back to the office of women after postpartum is still being widely discussed around the world. The best choice comes according to individual’s family circumstances, financial stability and other factors, thus I partly agree with both statements.
On the one hand, as cultural standards claim, men serve as a breadwinner, whereas women’s duty is to take care of the household chores and raise children, it is better to home moms to dedicate more time for their kids to create a strong bond and supervision. According to the research, held by a group of some bloggers, more children are happier when their mothers stay at home , so they can share more time, while having lunch or doing other activities.
On the down side, it is not a modern innovation, where some females, like widows, double as the heads of household and bring the home bacon on their own. However, there are some women, who pursue their desired careers and at the same time represent a role model for independency and ambitiousness for their children. In these circumstances, kids will be able to adapt new skills like socialising, networking and independency, as they will have to attend some daycares or kindergarten.
To sum up, children will be able to have a strong bond with their non-working mothers, while spending a quality time together, whereas, children whose mothers work, can develop networking skills in their early ages.
