A small group of people argue that anyone can become an effective teacher through a good training course. I strongly disagree with this statement. My justification will be given in upcoming paragraphs.
There are several reasons, to which I disagree with the statement. The primary one is personal interest and willingness. Because gaining knowledge through a course only cannot give a teacher, the passion and enthusiasm to work hard for their students. A teacher is always successful if he has interest in the subject and willingly participates to make students understand the lesson. For instance, a teacher who shows creativeness in classroom learning and makes the students remember the topic easily, only then he will be called successful. Therefore, a teacher should not only have knowledge but also curiosity in the field.
Furthermore, training courses cannot develop skills and experience matters more than knowledge. Learning modules do not comprise practical skills, which only comes after hands on practices. As a result, experience is equally important to become an effective tutor. For example, a good teacher is the one who is able to tackle 25 to 30 toddlers in classroom at a time. Thus, it is where the experience and skills are applied.
In conclusion, to become an effective teacher, it is important to have personal interest and willingness along with practical skills and classroom experience rather than only relying on good training courses.
