While some individuals believe that a bigger difference between parents and children has more benefits, others think less difference has more. To the best of my knowledge, I suggest that less difference might have more advantages. Even though both of the sides are subjective on each situation, I’ll illuminate their pros and cons including the reason for picking less difference over much difference.
Firstly, the bigger difference might be around thirty to forty year age gap between parents and children. This leads to the dissimilar viewpoints of the life affecting the discussion between family members. For instance, youths these days enjoy nightlife by going to clubs and bars which seems dangerous to the parents who have gone through the dangerous nightlife period in their time. In addition, not only for nightlife but also when it comes to contemporary technology, they like to call rather than sending a message to their kids. These kind of issues lead to cold interaction between families.
On the other hand, the families which have less differences don’t seem to have these kinds of problems. Since the parents would be hanging out with their kid all the time as well as nightlife. This lets families create a warm atmosphere and more enjoyable lifestyle. Another benefit of having less differences is the time that children could be in touch with their parents.
If the parents are a lot older than the kids, they have a bigger chance to leave this world sooner than they expected. The children being left in this world will not also be able to feel much more of the family’s warmth, causing emotional breakdown in their life. But for those with less differences, they might not face these kinds of problems.
I am jealous of those families which have less differences between them because I’ve been wishing my family to stay beside me till I’m strong enough to face the world and take care of them. In conclusion, I personally believe less differences are more logically enjoyable compared to many differences.
