Some people believe that ideas and information should be completely open, and there should be no controls on what people can read and watch in the media. They claim that a control can limit their creativity and the trust to the government would increase if all information were completely open. However, there is a common belief that the government should limit the freedom of the media in some circumstances. In this essay, I will look at both sides of the argument and give my opinion.
These days when almost all people have phones, computers and access to the internet, they all can read news or watch media without any problems. People claim that this is good, because if there are no limits and complete freedom then they can show their creativity they can also be popular. And also if the government doesn’t control the news on the internet then there would increase the trust towards the government, because now some people argue that the government hides some information from the people to not let them know the truth.
On the other hand, many people hold the view that the government should limit the freedom in some circumstances of the media and internet. They claim that, because nowadays there are many sites and people who show false posts or news, and people don’t know whether to trust them or not. Different news sources show different information and people become confused and don’t know what is true and what is false. Therefore, they think that the government should control them to filter them and avoid people from misleading information.
To conclude, I want to say that freedom is good, because people can show up, but if there is complete freedom then chaos may appear because of not filtered information and news. This can confuse people and cause problems.
