There is an ongoing debate about whether people should introduce artificial intelligence (AI) more than before. Some believe that this idea should be implemented actively, while others are worried about its negative aspects. I believe that although there are some benefits, people should not utilise AI so often because the disadvantages definitely outweigh its advantages.
On the one hand, advocates believe that utilization of AI may help them save time and money. For example, AI is already common in some industries, such as translation, teaching or manufacturing. In addition, AI can do appropriately some jobs, which are repetitive or simple. As a result, businesses who use AI positively can save manpower and time. Likewise, AI systems like ChatGPT are necessary in our daily life today since it can answer or help us any time of the day.
On the other hand, critics argue that there are several issues to rely too much on AI. For instance, if auto-driving cars increase, taxi drivers may lose their jobs and traffic accidents may increase more than driving by human. As far as I know, some test of auto-driving resulted in failure due to mistaking judgement of AI, in short, some people were injured by AI driving. Another example is that if companies introduce AI, many employees may be no longer needed. Moreover, they are concerned about whether the information from AI is always correct or not.
In conclusion, although AI is beneficial for human, dependence of AI is dangerous. Considering these points above, I think that disadvantages are more noticeable than its advantages.
