It is commonly believed that the young children should be raised in metropolitan areas, on the other hand, few people believe that the rural areas are better for the development of children. In this essay, I will be discussing both the views, however, I personally believe that urban cities are better for the growth of young children.
Firstly, cities have more accessibility like educational centers, hospitals, recreational areas, and many other facilities which are vital for the development of offspring. Children would have more exposure to the outside world when they grew up in cosmopolitan sites. Moreover, they will have more access to the extra curricular activities like sports, gym, libraries, and various events which will help them to understand the world better. Significantly, safety is higher in city sides, where most of the areas are covered with CCTV cameras. Parents should not be worried about the safety of their children when they are hanging out with friends.
Whereas, when it comes to countryside, people highly encourage the families to have a rural lifestyle. One vital reason is, children should grow up with the natural habitat, which keeps them away from pollution and bad influences in the society. In countryside, neighbors are aware of their surroundings, and so any outsiders can be easily identified or traced which increases the safety of the community. Additionally, the family bond will be stronger since people have their routine and they could be able to spend more time with their families and communities.
To be conclude, both these decisions has its own pros and cons. In my personal opinion, upbring the kids in urban cities will give them a better exposure, and it increases the peer to peer bonding which is quite difficult in rural areas.
