Spendings habits of children has always remained one of the paramount concern of today’s society. Some proponents assert that learning institutes should teach them how to manage money. However, others believe that it is a parental duty. I opine that it must be the coordination of schools and guardians to better educate juveniles in terms of monetary spending.
In the first place,Educating juveniles in the schools can be easy because most of the schools have professional experts, with broad knowledge and techniques to make students understand effortlessly. They can encourage students to learn about any specific topic by approaching different kinds of techniques. For instance, a tutor can add topic related to how to spend money in academic learning in that way children can learn at quite fast pace. Furthermore, they can introduce some alluring and enticing way of learning by visually presenting the facts related to expenditure and it is one the capitativating approach for the young learners as they grab knowledge more what they see.
Secondly, Parents can provide personalized teaching because they know their children’s personalities and spending habits and can advise according to their individual needs. Also, parents can set real life examples, for most of the young ones their parents are their role models and they try to imitate their behaviour and actions, acting as a wise person in terms of monetary situation may leads to the positive growth of a child. Additionally , indulging them into making budget plans and educating them relating to daily life household expenditure can give them exposure to differentiate between necessary to unnecessary spendings.
In my opinion, both ways of teaching have their own importance but introducing it as a part of academic criteria and giving parents personal experience and exposure collaboratively may excel their learnings.
In summary, financial education is not only sole responsibility of institutes and guardians. To make it easy for the the children’s efforts from both sides are required. Supervision from both parents and educational institutions must be practised because it will help them to track child’s process and habbits continously.
