Parents admit children in school, mainly to focus on the academic subjects. But it is necessary for them to learn about the benifits of recycling and environmental protection in school. This essay focus on the importance of environmental education and academic subjects taught in school.
In this modern world, environmental pollution has become a major threat to the society due to increase in the variety of techonolgies and increased use of fuels. The future and younger generation, especially the school children, should be taught about the environmental hazards and their remedies to protect the world. Consequently, the importance and process of recycling the used products must be taught to them. This will highly increase their awareness towards environmental saftey.
However, other people think that children should only focus on the academic subjets and there is nothing controversial in this point as they want their children to be more sucessful in the academic part. But this may keep the children unaware of the threats in the natural surroundings. In my opinion, educational organizations should incorporate the environmental protection and recycling as a part of students curriculum, even for students studying different streams. This incorporation of the subject could fullfil the people with both mindsets.
