Band 5+: some people believe that children should not be given homework everyday, while others believe that they must get homework every day in order to be succesful at school. Discuss both sides and give your opinion

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

some indivudals argue that it is curcial daily homework to students while others contend that this practise does not yiled any positive outcomes.Although both prespectives have merit, l am inclined towards the former view.

It is understandable why assignig homework on a daily basis provides students with the opportunity to benefit academically. This is primarily because regular homework enables students to review and reinforce the knowledge acquired during the school hours, which turn better preperes them for examinations or tests, ultimately leading to improved collegiate performence without homework. Students may engage in unproductive activites such as excessive gaming, bringe-watching , or reading irrelevant material, which cannot enly negative impact their academic results but also their overall well-being.This highlits that the necessity of daily homework in the scholarly journey of students is evident.

However, I support the view that excessive homework is unuseful as it can detract from other critical aspects of a student’s life. When students are burdened with excessive homework , they may have limited time to engage in leisure activites such as sports, socializing with friends, or reading for pleasure which physical and mental health.Unlike in the past, where students achieved academic success despite shorter shcool days, modren students are required to attend school for longer hours to acquire knowlege and develop social skilss, leaving them with limited time for meaningful acitivites. This is a testment to the fact it will be an uncessary burden if schools provide their lerners with a large plethora of assigments.

In conculison, despite the validity of both viewpoints, I maintain belief that school should engage in daily homework to reinforce their learning and achieve improved schoolasic success. However , it is significant to strike a balance and avoid overwhelming students with excessive homework, thus allowing them to participate in other essential aspects of life.
