It is believed by a few individuals that children should be encouraged to be competitive, while others think that it is more useful for them to learn to be cooperative in order to become better adults. I believe that while learning to be more cooperative can help them become responsible as an adult, having a sense of competitiveness makes a child successful.
Many think that being cooperative helps youngsters become good adults because it can allow them adapt to complex work efficiently in teams, which can help them build social and financial skills. It is an important factor for a little kid in order to learn how men and women in the real world act and work. For example, it is often the case that children who are taught cooperative skills from the beginning of their lives are better at managing work in a professional setting later in life. Despite this, I think it plays a minor role in enhancing a child’s mindset. Encouraging competitiveness, on the other hand, plays a bigger role.
There are many who believe it is necessary to focus on encouraging youth to be more competitive because it helps them succeed later in life. This is because it helps them learn essential skills required to overcome challenges in life such as building habits of persistence, resilient, and eagerness. For instance, in many places around the world, there are studies that children who are taught to be more competitive generally are more successful because they learn a habit to be more not give up when things are hard.
In conclusion, although cooperativeness can allow children become responsible adults, a sense of competitiveness helps them become more successful later in life, which outweighs other factors.
