Different people have diverse ideas whether computers and the internet or schools and teachers are more useful for child’s education. There are respective advantages and disadvantages on both point of views and I believe that combining two approaches for children in school is more effective way of improving for child’s education in modern age.
The computers and internet access can develop children on work skills such as digital skills, learning skills and independence living skills but can be weak in personal development and health issues. Firstly, the children using the computers can quickly lead for job readiness because they can be assessable many online tools and platforms to study their education. For example, coding skill can become professional career and self study and independence living skills for a child can be automatically capacited by learning the whole story of real life in a short time from their computer online. Although benefits of computer and internet are several, there are increasing weakness on personal development and health problem because computer and digital tools can not teach emotional intelligent which is the most important for human being. Additionally, the vision of a child’s eye and physical movement of the child can be affected by more scream time.
In person attendance in school is always the best way to get practical life experience from peer learning and networking for a child so the teachers are mainly implementing education development for children in schools. One of the best life experience from peer learning enhances sympathy and empathy by understanding other children’s feelings, attitude, behavior according to the guidance by the teachers for theory and practical activity in the school. Furthermore, face to face interaction gets more active participation for peer learners. In addition, the teachers are usually monitoring and executing role play activity to promote networking in school for the children because networking is very important for developing personal and professional life in the future. As a result, networking in school activity is essential for child education development.
In conclusion, both development of technology and the teachers for schools have effectiveness for child education development. However, the teachers and schools can combine school lessons and activity with digital ways which need for technical skill and practical activities for personal development can be balanced in nowadays.
