some individuals deem that culture is guarded by tourism industry that is the only method to protect it while the others think that tourism industry and earning money of it will destroy the culture. I firmly agree with this side that tourism industry and make money of tourism is only method to guarding a culture. I shall explain both sides in the following paragraphs.
Overcrowding could destroy ancient places. In other words, being crowded tourism places could be one of the most contributor to damage the historical places that are the symbols of a culture and civilization. When people go to tourism sites might throw their own garbage in that place or accidentally break a valuable historical object. In Iran, for instance, a precious painting broke by a foreign tourism when he was taking a picture.
On the other hand, people get more information about a culture by tourism industry. It means that, when tourists visit different ancient places and valuable things, know their culture and languages that help a culture to be alive. Noteworthy is the fact that a culture will be forgotten if people forget it. For example, there are a lot of languages that have forgotten during the time like ancient Persian language. Besides, maintaining historical places and things has costs that earn tourism revenue can help to governments in maintaining them. Although tourist might harm somethings accidently during their visiting but these reasons vividly elaborate that tourism industry is necessary protecting a culture.
In conclusion, based on the aforementioned reasons, I once reaffirm my position that fiscal perspective to a culture and tourism industry is the only way to protect it and governments should allocate part of the budget to the tourism industry.
