Nowadays, industrialization is increasing day by day. Handful of folks think that with the help of huge factories or large industries, people are getting employment and as a result, the problem of poverty is solved.
However, on the other hand, few folks argued that there is great damage to the surrounding environment, so this should be stopped. I will discuss both views and give my opinion in forthcoming paragraphs.
To commence with, the first view of given notion, by simple people are getting employment. To strengthen my view, when the industry is opened, they need numbers of workers for work and they hire the workers. As a result, they get employment and the people who are working in the industry can fulfill their basic needs and eventually, the rate of poverty gets decreased. According to an article in Times of India, 60% of people are getting jobs and start working only by getting work in industries. Thus, industrial growth is necessary so that people can solve the poverty problem. When industries are increased, the technological equipment are introduced and eventually, the workers have to learn how to operate it. It leads to people learning new things. Apart from this, economic growth is also increased.
To embark with second view of given notion, pollution is increased considerably by industrial growth. To explain this in a more clear way, when the smoke is emitted into the fresh air, it automatically leads to air pollution. The fresh air is contaminated which also affects human beings and all living organisms. They have to suffer withair-borne diseases. There is land pollution also when industries dump their chemicals and toxic materials on the land and in landfills; it also damages the soil as well as underground water. Due to this, the cultivation of crops is not possible because it loses their fertility. Apart from this, water is also polluted when toxic chemicals and industrial wastewater are drained into rivers, lakes or oceans. This affects and damages the aquatic life and creatures. So, as a result, the industrial growth is creating environmental problems and damaging it to a huge extent which is not safe for future as well. So, it should be stopped. In my opinion, industrial growth is creating environmental problems such as air, water, and land pollution which damage the surroundings and it is dangerous to human lives also. So, it should be stopped as soon as possible. In conclusion, although peopl are getting employment, they can improve skills, better infrastructure and pollution is increased day
by day which is so dangerous
