As the world becomes even more technological, advanced opportunities of changing human’s horizons appear. While some people are sure that for studying better, achieving goals and becoming the best version of themselves they will need to enhance their minds using technology, others argue that after the invention of memory chips and robotic limbs people will start being respectively relied on technologies, thus the word human will be replaced by robot. In my opinion, new inventions can help people do household chores, work in a lab or just play computer games, however, the human brain will never need to be superseded by a robotic one due to the fact that a lot of problems might appear.
It is evident that everyone was born to be a human that deals with challenging situations, trying to solve them, acquires knowledge of different subjects and counts on themselves no matter what. While with brain or limb replacement, we will all become the same like Nancys from the book “The Final World War”, whose minds were strictly controlled, not allowing them to think differently.
Moreover, the prisoners in this story are programmed so that they can not act against the law, they are deprived of their own opinions, thus forgetting who they really are and where they belong. This story leads to a thought that we can get on with technologies only living separately and helping each other in the related fields.
In conclusion, inventions provide everyone with dozens of opportunities that can be both harmful and positive. While technologies can be useful in human lives being helpful, they can also ruin personalities, hence, changing people into robots and making the world fully dependent on computers.
