There is an ongoing debate about whether increasing the number of sports facilities is the best way to improve public health. There are also a group of people who argue that other measures are required to improve public health. In my point of view, increasing the number of sports facilities for public is an action that the favours of it cannot be overlooked. In addition, various measures should be taken by authorities. My reasons and opinions are outlined below.
First and foremost, human health requieres an active life. If an individual wants to feel healthy in all aspects, that person should have an active life alongside his or her other living habits. If authorities increase the number of sports facilities and make it more affordable, it will have an unquestionable possitive impact on public health. Furthermore, states should encourage people for a more active life. Rising awareness about the beneficial sides of sports for human health, will make people to act for it. However, encouragements about an active life is not suficiente only for the public health as a general term.
On the other hand, there are some people who argue that increasing numbers of sports facilities is not enough to improve public health, however other measures required. They have a valid point about an active life does not mean a complete health. Additionally, people should be informed about the impacts of bad diet habits. Authorities should make healthier options more affordable and sustainable. Food making process of companies should be inspected solidly to avoid the chemicals that might threat the human health. Furthermore, individuals should be awared of early diagnosis with various publicities.
In conclusion, the possitive impact of sports for human health is undeniable. If states and authorities want to improve public health, they should increase the numbers of sports facilities and take all other measures as well.
