People have different views about whether animals should be kept in zoos, while some individuals believe that wild animals should be free in natural habitats, others have the idea that zoos are the better places for animals due to entertaining and ecological aspects.
On the one hand, it is believed that zoos are not the good environments for animals to live. Unlike human, wild animals are born and raised best in wildlife where they can learn hunting and survive wildly, and therefore human have no right to force them to live in zoos which does not provide animal a subtable environment to live. Moreover, living in cages cause a lot stresses to animals, gradually, animals kept in zoos have to be suffered serious mental problems that severely affect their life.
Despite these negatives mentioned above, there are some people are more convinced by the benefits of keeping animals in zoos. I can understand that zoos play in a vital role for entertaining and educating people in terms of biology and ecology. For many people who do not have many chances to observe wild animals in nature can watch them in zoos or natural park, the zoo can be an affordable option for human to see and learn about animals. Additionally, some kinds of animals such as dolphins or monkeys are trained to entertain human, they can be taught to act like human, this attracts more visitors to come to the zoos and therefore increase income for the zoos.
In conclusion, while many believe that zoos are not the right place for animals to live, others tend to be convinced by the benefits that zoos offer regarding to entertaining and ecological factors.
