It is often argued that university education had better be without any tuition for all students regardless of their financial conditions. Looking on this as an insupportable argument, I aim to challenge this view in this essay.
Of course, it is an undeniable fact that government has a limited budget to allocate universities; thus, it seems impossible for officials to allow all students to educate without any payment. To put this in another way, if educational institutions keep going without getting any tuition, they would face consequences such as financial issue and bankruptcy. Therefore, in my point of view, financial background is better to be considered as a criterion for getting tuition. To illustrate, officials had better adopt a law, which provides only low-income families with financial aid that meet all of their financial needs.
In addition, it seems to me that considering the financial background of a family in granting financial aid for educating at university can bring justice to our society. That is to say, regardless of whether or not a student have a poor or rich parents, they have an equal chance to study wherever they opt for. In this way, officials enable students living in poverty to enjoy educating at top universities. Therefore, these students have the same opportunity to work with state-of-the-art educational facilities like those that are in labs.
In conclusion, not only had better authorities emphasize on financial background in providing student to study free by enacting a law as they have limited funds, but also they need to consider financial background if they want to achieve economic social equality.
