Besides, involvement in creative pursuits can boost individuals’ mental wellbeing. In a world where everyone is in a rush and overwhelmed with their work, engaging in these hobbies would be a great escape life’s hustle and bustle. For example of a stressed person who can express thoughts and emotions through painting, thereby increasing self-esteem and relieving the stress.
Beneficial as these pastimes may seem, I think there are other nuances that should equally be considered. There some other individuals who find sport or other activities more luring since it may be the best way of getting the sense of contentment for them. Obviously, pursuing them to embroidery or knitting would be futile as they don’t have a passion for it. On top of that after long hours of work, people might be burnout and may not have enough energy or enthusiasm for creating paintings or music, so they simply want to recharge their batteries by sleeping. Additionally, there are more crucial disciplines that can benefit individuals more than creative activities. In the technologically advanced world, it is better to be involved in learning computer skills or foreign languages which can lead to career prospects. For instance, children who spend time on gaming might have more job opportunities because of his or her skills than those who were busy with creative activities.
