Nowadays, people define the meaning of happiness in different ways based on their personal feelings. This has sparked much debate whether happiness depends on wealth or other factors such as healthy life, education and personal interest. In my point of view, it is hardly possible to be happy when people only focus on their business.
There are three fundamental reasons that people cannot be totally amused when they can find a lot of money. First of all, when people try to improve their business or work, they forget to take care of their family and even themselves, which leads to an unbalanced lifestyle. As a result, they have several problems in the family, for example, their kids misbehave a lot due to lack of cares and support from their parents. Similarly, they become stressed and get depressed since they do not give time to relax and self care. Moreover, when people emphasise on their economic growth, they forget to devote time for their professional development and so they will become burnt out and unhappy with their loads of work with limited ability. Lastly, happiness comes from inner peace and stable minds. However, if people follow money and do not know how to be content, they cannot be pleased with their life.
It is undeniable that being wealthy is an important factor to be happy in life since people need money to solve most of the matters. However, there are a lot of things that people need to get a life full of enjoyment such as good health, intelligence, love and care which cannot be bought by money.
In conclusion, I believe that it is essential that people have to build a balanced lifestyle including financial, emotional and cognitive development to achieve a joyful life.
