The education system in both public and private schools has long been debated regarding which of the two is better. Many argue that private schools are better than public institutions, and I agree.
In terms of facilities, private schools have more funding, which allows them to create more buildings and facilities that can increase the focus of learners. They can acquire more school materials such as different types of books, laboratory materials, and sports equipment with their budget, thus creating a better environment for students.
In addition to that, these institutions have a higher quality of education. With a balanced student-to-teacher ratio that allows each and every voice to be heard and concerns to be acknowledged, it creates a more focused needs assessment and provides individualized feedback suitable to each student. Rigorous study must be undertaken to achieve a higher grade in their achievement exams just to enroll.
Lastly, it provides a safer learning environment. Security protocols ensure the safety of both teachers and learners inside the school premises. With security guards present, surveillance cameras monitoring every move, and a strict biometric system that inspects everyone entering and exiting the school, this in return increases parents’ peace of mind without having anxiety about how their child is doing at school.
To summarize, I am of the view that the private learning system is at an advantage compared to public schools. The advancement of facilities, quality of education, and safer learning environments mark a huge gap between the two different schools.
