Band 5+: Some people believe that school students should be required to do some free social work after the classes. Do you agree or not?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

A group of individuals holds a view that students should work as a volunteer after classes. I partially support this viewpoint and my arguments will be elaborated in following paragraphs.

On one hand, I agree that free work after classes helps students gain practical experience that prepares them for real-world challenges. They can use those experiences both choosing a suitable field and building a career. In addition, volunteering fosters a sense of responsibility and stronger ties to the community that can offer an easier understandability of people and social issues. To know some society problem from young age is essential have a strong character and senses. These kind of features make volunteer work interesting.

On the other hand, it is also true that requiring free work may overwhelm students, leaving them with little time for relaxation. Adding free work can put too much pressure on students who already have busy schedule and because of this pressure, they may lost success potential in their classes or they cannot be productive in their volunteer works. Furthermore, forcing students to do free work might lead to a lack of interest and decreased motivation. Take, for example, this reason may cause them to lose motivation to build a career for themselves in the future and they may not want to work in the same work which, they already worked as volunteer because of this force.

In conclusion, although I believe that students should work in unpaid jobs for gaining experience and some social skills, I am also of the view that requiring free work can make students extremely tired and may lead motivation problems.
