In the contemporary world, it is often argued that educational settings should equip students with global news while others believe that this can run out of worthy time for academic subjects. From my viewpoint, I contend the inclusion of international news plays vital roles in a well-rounded education. This essay will discuss both views prior to representing my own perspectives .

For example, understanding global warming can encourage students to adopt environmentally friendly practices or having an awareness of current conflicts across the world can foster their empathy, and a sense of global citizenship. Second, children also nurture critical thinking through a wide range of articles. This is mainly since they have to verify the reliability of news, leading to forming reasoned decisions. This can act as a catalyst for a student’s future success in a workplace.
