In this modern day, technology has been a highly debated topic among people due to its significant impacts on human life. It is commonly believed that the development of technological devices makes our life become more complex. This essay is going to provide some persuasive rationales to explain why I partly disagree with this statement.
On the one hand, it is evident that technology offers many positive implications on the way people communicate and study. To begin with, the appearance of newer digital devices such as smartphone, tablet,… helps people communicate more effectively and quickly regardless geographical distances. That demonstrates that instead of having physical meetings, people are more likely to utilize video calls or messages which are probably adventageous for their time-saving. Additionally, it is possible for all students over the world to get access to education due to the assistance of technical tools. With the variety of information on the Internet, students tend to gain knowledge more effortlessly through many available online classes and the support from artificial intelligence.
On the other hand, there are some drawbacks resulting in the advancement of technology in recent years. In terms of health, technological equipment makes it possible to children spend more time in front of screen. That means instead of taking part in many outdoor activities or studying, children constantly prefer playing video games during hours that definitely effects on their well-being as well as their physical fitness. In addition, overuse of online platforms for communication aslo increase the feelings of isolation and depression among individuals because of the lower demand for face-to-face meetings.
In summary, even though there are still many challenges which require to resolve, I still agree with the idea that technology makes our life easier due to its convenience.
