In today’s modern life, traveling overseas is becoming more and more popular among general citizens, and the most available method for journeys is air travel. However, while some people believe that this way is beneficial, others are against this statement.
To begin with, the incredible popularity of air flights is due to the comfortable and fast service. Travelers can book in advance tickets to any place they want and, also, can make a return of funding if they changed their mind or their plans have changed, due to the different circumstances. Moreover, the advantage of airships is that the needed time for flights is relatively less in comparison with other transport, such as trains and ferryboats. Secondly, this type of travel gives the opportunity to visit any location without extra transport. For instance, a trip to London from Tashkent without a plane can consider three or more types of transport and different locations before the final destination, that is too complicated, needed a lot energy and financial resources, whereas air travel can be cheaper and much more faster. Furthermore, there is another important point, having overseas travelling trips between different nations can be economically beneficial, due to the fact that most of countries improve their economic by tourism. Also, this phenomenon includes developing relationships and new collaborations between nations, that can improve the external political situation, which is the most important thing these days.
On the other hand, air travel has its own detrimental sides. Firstly, this applies to air pollution. The environmental side is also important, the considerable quantity of jets is changing the quality of air to bad and, also, can be the reason for temperature’s change because of the exhaust emissions, such as carbon monoxide. Another drawback that can be more destructive not only for the environment, but also for human lives is airship accidents that were common for past decades. The reasons for the air crash can differ from bad weather to pilot mistakes. For instance, the situation in Russia when the pilot allowed his son to fly a plane, which ended tragically for all passengers, including the pilot and his child.
To sum up, in my opinion, the benefits outweigh the disadvantages. People’s worries about air crashes are understandable, but as was mentioned, it refers to the past decade because the air travel system and security has improved significantly by adding new rules that must be obeyed.
