People are divided in their opinions regarding whether authorities have to invest in space and colonisation of other planets, but others say this money needs to be spent on solving problems on Earth and atmosphere. I believe that better investing in inter galaxy development, because on our planet many problems have always existed, such as viruses, natural disasters, extinction and mineral depletion. In the following essay both views, as well as my opinion are going to be observed.
Investing in space exploration has many benefits. First of all, it helps scientists create new technologies that improve our daily lives. Moreover, exploring other planets may allow humanity to find a new place to live if the Earth becomes unsafe because of climate change, natural disasters, or the depletion of natural resources. Thus, funding of policies supporting space development is a crucial aspect of mankind’s existence.
I believe that spending more money on solving problems on Earth is not always effective. Many issues, such as poverty, wars, and diseases, have existed for centuries despite huge financial investments. Therefore, simply spending more money does not guarantee that these problems are likely to disappear. Instead, governments should invest in projects that can bring long-term benefits, such as space exploration.
In my opinion, space exploration is still worth investing in. Scientific discoveries made through space research often benefit medicine, engineering, and communication. Furthermore, learning more about the universe can help humanity prepare for future challenges and ensure the long-term survival of our civilization.
In conclusion, both views have strong arguments. Although solving problems on Earth is extremely important, I opine that governments should continue to contribute to space exploration because it brings technological progress and protects humanity’s future while also improving life on our planet.
