Some individuals believe that governments should provide money to the public transportation, whilst in other people’s opinion investment should be directed towards developing roads and highways. I personally believe, that governments ought to spend money for improving roads and highways. First of all, majority of people have their own transportations, so it would be logically to improve quality of driving for the most percentage of people. Secondly, I think that the quality of roads are very important while driving.
On the one hand, public transportation is really crucial thing in human’s daily life, because people who have not their own private cars, should to use public transportation to go to the job or school and come back to the home after that location. Additionally, it is obvious that nowadays a lot of grandmothers and grandfathers are driving in the city only in public transports, therefore I think that it is important to make their driving in transports comfortable and convenient. In that case public transports plays incredibly big role in daily human’s life and require money from governments for its improvements.
On the other hand, roads and highways plays not less role in the transportation. Nowadays there are a lot of accidents on the road, and there are a lot of causes for them. However, one of the most common causes of accidents is bad quality of roads. Moreover, recent studies shows, that majority percentage of accidents occured because of the unexpected holes on the road. Therefore, it is important for governments to invest money for the quality of roads and highways. Subsequently it can led to the less accidents on the road, that are unfortunately happens daily.
In conclusion, I believe that although high quality of public transportation is important, roads and highways on which people drive daily are much better option to invest in.
