Many government prefer to spend money on museums and entertainment, while people argue that it could be better if resources are dedicated in education and better health conditions.
Overall, every citizens of a country, with the payment of taxes , a small percentages of the total are used by governament in order to improve the collectivity situation such as public transportation, building of parks or money contributions to poor people and so many on.
In my opinion, helping people with free healthcare is the bare minimun of a civilized country: is not possible let people die if they are not covered by assurance or if they are not rich enough to buy healthcare checks. Moreover, education, should be free for all who want to improve knowledges, in fact, a smart country lead to make discoveries and consequently people help to the economical growth.
On the other hand, encourage the develop of arts and entertainment is a way to discover what poets and musicians did in the past and understand from the past to improve the future. For example, in Italy, to promote the patrimonial arts, every first Sunday of a month, every museum is free and all who want to visit is welcomed.
For me, the governament, with the money that receive from all the people who pay taxes, should invest in all the fields in order to be a powerful country. If citizens feel that the country who live help them in all the aspects, it is possibile reduce the emigration and encourage them to contribute to the growth of their country.
