It is irrefutable that the global environmental problem is skyrocketing day by day. The increasing rate of industrialisation and population are a big cause of it. Soms people believes that altering life styles of individual citizens can lead to solving this problem. On the other hand, some thinks that it is the responsibility of the government and big organisations to come forward to solve this problem. This essay delves into the view of both party and includes personal opinion.
Citizens often contribute to global warming due to their lifestyle in mamy ways. For example, using polythins instead of paper bags contributes to a rich amount of pollution that leads to global warming. Using gas operated vehicles that are non-complaint is also a big problem. This can be solved by using electric vahicles as they do not produce any gas emissions. The improper usage of chamical products that results in desolving into rivers and canals also takes part in the environmental problem. lastly, over usage of wood products is causing serious deforestation. With this view, it is absolutly clear that citizens need to be more aware of thus situation and change their lifstyle for the sake of the environment they are living in.
On the contrary, some poeple think that it is the governments and large companies to take neccessary actions to mitigate global environmental problems. The government has the ability to empoloy rules on the citizens. Strict law can be applied on companies that contributes to these environmental issues. Baning harsh and dengerous products and doing proper checks on these can help imporove the situation. Companies should do research on more safe and environment friendly products that can meet the neccessity of its consumers. Making these changes will slowly force the people to adapt to new regulations thus it will mitigats the environmental negagive impacts.
To sum up, it is understandable that the environment is getting worse day after day and strong steps needs to be taken immidiatly. While the government and the big organisations can help lower these impacts, in my point of view, true change can be brought only by changing the rough lifestyle of individual citizens. If the citizens themselves are not acting up regarding the negative environmental shift, after a while the damage will be irreversable.
