Some people argue that technology has enhanced learning results in education, while others think it negatively affects the quality of education. Personally, I believe technology would be a good method of education.
On the one hand, people being too dependent on technology may lead to the decline of critical thinking and problem-solving skills. In more detail, they would become more lazy to think and impatient when faced with problems. For instance, when students have to do some difficult tasks, they often tend to search for the answer on the Internet instead of spending time doing it by themselves. As a result, overreliance on technology would lead to the situation that later generations cannot perform cognitive activities without technology
On the other hand, applying technology in education is a good way to develop the quality of learning. To be specific, digital tools such as educational software, apps, and AI make learning more engaging. For example, students are exposed to some activities such as: preparing presentations and making reports about their field of learning. Therefore, it can cater to different learning styles, making education more inclusive.
In conclusion, although using technology in education has some negative effects, I firmly believe that it is more beneficial for developing education.
