Therefore, a plethora of people believe that resorting to it has yield copious positive outcomes on the field of education. Despite the fact that this viewpoint has its proponents, it has also received backlash from some oponents. Furthermore, critics question its effectiveness and hypothesize that it has knock-on effects and vandalizes the quality of learning. This essay will examine and investigate both standpoints and present my opinion that technology has always been an important ingredient in achieving personal growth and attaining success.

On the one hand, technology has been recognized as a fundamental resource that streamlines the learning process. In reality, accumulating information, data, and statistics has become effortless thanks to the recent digital transformation. The integration of advanced tools and gadgets, such interactive whiteboards, projectors, graphic tablets, and virtual reality (VR) headsets into the educational setting has not only aided learners but also facilitated the process for teachers. In addition, science has proven beneficial in several occasions due its capacity to connect people from various parts of the world and from far distances. To exemplify, individuals who have a limited mobility, suffer from physical conditions, or dwell in remote areas can still access high quality education through online platforms, such as Moodle, Google Meet, Zoom, to name a few. Also, it contributed to the availability of various methods and ways to contact teachers and classmates, through Email and Messenger, for instance. Consequently, this phenomenon offered an ubiquitous access; an ability to access something (typically information, services, or technology) anywhere, at any time, and through any appropriate device. As a result, it has provided learners with unprecedented opportunities.

On the other hand, it can deteriorate the learning experience if it is malused. As much assistance technolgy has offered to its utilizers, it can still pose some significant challenges. In a similar vein, scientific tools like smartphones are a means of distraction. To be lucid, numerous juvinles across the universe are inclined toward employing them to play video games, chat with friends, and do other trivial things and activites that will not aid them to flourish and fine-tune their skill set, particularly if they are done in a educational setting. In the same token, parents must monitor their offspring’s usage and educate them about how to capitalize from this technological evolution. Also, instructors in schools can play a pivitol role in this matter by raising awareness and warning them about the severe repercussions and profound implications of misusing them.

Ultimately, it is an undeniable fact that technology has occupied our realm and has exponentially contributed to the field of education in a positive way by providing a wide array of opportunities and means.
