The issue whether too much attention and investment are given to the convervation of wild animals remains an arguable topic. While some individuals hold the opinion that wild animals are reduntant and resources allocated to wildlife are excessive, I strongly believe that the protection of wild animals should be prioritized in the current century. In the following paragraphs, I shall put forth my arguements to support my views.
Firstly, wild animals play a crucial role in the ecosystem, which means the loss of these species could devastate the biodiversity and lead to a collapse of ecological balance, and it will affect us directly or indirectly. In addition, wild animals also have impact on their habitat.Protecting them can help us protect sinificantly the natural enviornment at the same time, such as the forests, the rivers and the mountains.
Secondly, wildlife conservation also has significant economic benefits. Many countries rely heavily on tourism, and wild animals serve as a major attraction for tourists. The preservation of wild animals in their habitats offers a unique and exciting experience for visitors. On top of that, some wild animals have medicinal value and some are studied by scientists to test drugs before the use to human being. Therefore, it’s undeniable that the conservation of wild species can contribute to the economic and scientific development of our societies.
To put it in a nutshell, I pen down saying that the preservation of wildlife is by no means a waste of attention and resources. In fact, it’s still imperative in the 21st century.Governments, organizations and people should work together to protect them, ensuring long-term survival of our planet and the well-being of human societies.
