Many people believe that free education at university would be beneficial for everyone. I believe that by doing so people can avoid the level of stress which can occur due to high amount of required money, however, this can lead to reduction in country development and would influence student’s performance.
Free education would be the best beneficial way for people who are suffering financially. As university education often requires high amount of money, families struggle with payment which can lead to stress. If educational system would be without charge, it reduces the amount of work, meaning that they don’t have to work in extra jobs. In addition, if education doesn’t demand fee, students will be confident and the health problems like anxiety and stress will not occur.
However, it can influence student’s performance in many ways.
For example, students who are studying for free don’t put all their efforts to study. As universities without charge don’t put much pressure to pupils, they might think that they can study whenever they want. This results in their study and can lead to failure in the exams. Additionally, this can cause to problems with economy, for example, universities often need great amount of electricity. If education would be free, government has to pay for all requirements by itself. This can be drawback for the country.
In conclusion, universities for free would be beneficial for students who have problems with money. However this can lead to reduction in government economy.
