Some individuals believe that employees should be allowed to work remotely, whereas others think that they should work in an office. While working from home may offer greater convenience, I firmly believe that working in an office is the key to productivity.
On the one hand, remote work is convenient because employees can adjust their schedules to suit their needs. People who work from home can change their timetables according to their personal commitments, which gives them greater flexibility. For example, if a remote employee becomes ill, they can postpone their work until the evening, whereas an office worker has to ask their employer for permission to leave work or visit a hospital. As a result, after recovering, the remote employee can return to work later that day instead of delaying their tasks until the following day, unlike the office worker who has to wait until the next day to complete their workload.
On the other hand, I believe that working in an office is crucial for productivity. While remote employees may blur the boundaries between their personal lives and work, office workers can focus on their duties with fewer distractions. For example, office workers who concentrate solely on completing their daily workload within five or six hours often accomplish the same amount of work that remote employees spend an entire day completing because they are less likely to be interrupted by unexpected visitors, phone calls, or procrastination. As a result, not only can office workers complete their tasks more efficiently, but they can also devote the rest of the day to their personal interests or hobbies.
In conclusion, while remote work offers greater convenience and flexibility, I believe that working in an office is more beneficial because it enables employees to be more productive and complete their work more efficiently.
