It is true that if committing major crimes were caused by juvenile delinquency, they will be punished like the way that adults were fined. While I acknowledge the benefits of the way strict punish young criminals , I also think that it isn’t good for them.
I agree with the idea that punishing teenage criminals follows the same way of adults because it helps them become more obedient. Some juvenile delinquents have a trend disrespectful form of slight punishment because they don’t afford ages to carry out harsh punishments with them. Therefore, they don’t feel nervous and scared which leads to wrongdoing continuing to create from these criminals. As a result, increasing criminals in ages from 10 to 16 years old affects society.
However, I also disagree with this idea for some reason. First, they don’t totally mature and lack awareness about the level of right or wrong issues . Some cruel people who encourage juveniles embark on the streets of crime, abuse the weakness of juveniles. In the mountain area, adult criminals senduse children taking part in traffic illegal substances because they want money to adapt to demand that can’t be invested from their parents. Second, juveniles especially, juveniles are developing mentally, they aren’t willing to receive harsh punishment. Therefore, compared to a teenager who is educated about the right and wrong at school, the one who receives harsh punishment can suffer from negative emotion for a long time.
In conclusion, despite the benefits of punishment the same as adults, I support that the slight punishment is suitable for juvenile criminals.
