Nowadays, more and more individuals are changing their food habits, in other words they become vegetarians. It is often argued that this is beneficial to human health whilst others disagree and think it will lead to adverse ramifications on the environment. This essay agrees that meats are one of the most significant foods in our lives, so it is harmful to refuse it entirely.

It is clear that the decline in consuming meat, especially red meat, leads to various types of issue in the human body. One of the main concerns is the potential for nutritional deficiencies, such as iron and vitamin B12, which are abundant in red meat. Additionally, a lack of these nutrients can lead to anemia and decreased energy levels. Some studies have found that a vegetarian diet may result in changes adversely affecting the human body. Protein deficiency is a prime example, some people may also face challenges in maintaining muscle mass due to reduced protein intake.

On the other hand, the usage of meat has been made tons of negative impact on the environment. In more details, the food preparing industries consume tons of clean water to produce all types of meat, such us beef or fish. Moreover, they release huge amounts of wastewater to the environment. However, this essay argues that people should not refuse meat consumption on this basis, as it still allows that a plant-based diet has never supplanted animal-origin cooking for nutrition. For instance, some vegetarian children may lack certain vitamins and minerals that are essential for normal growth and development.

In conclusion, although animal-origin foods are used frequently by people for well-being, some argue that these may cause immense pollution in the natural world. In spite of that eating meat products exclusively cannot always be acceptable, there are undoubtedly many advantages to using animal organ products.
