While many people think that immigrants should try to adapt to their new culture, others support the idea of immigrants implementing their culture as a minority group in a foreign nation. I am in favor of the view that people should use the combination of both strategies when they move to new countries
On the one hand, it is undeniable that establishing a minority community gives them an irreplaceable sense of home. Foreigners, in ordinary, who have settled in a strange country usually encounter problems such as homesickness or cultural shock, which can be alleviated and solved by taking part in a community of people from the same homeland. will help them solve those problems. This is because the members of that community, who can be so-called seniors, will not only give the immigrants instructions or advice about how to be familiar with new environments but also sympathize with the difficulties they are facing, which helps them mentally soon have a happier new life.
On the other hand, despite the aforementioned viewpoint, merging in the local culture is still an essential and indispensable stage for immigrants to stabilize their lives. Only by accepting new traditions and customs can they blend in and engage in meaningful bonds with the local community in those new countries. Since every country has its own values, following them is the key to helping foreigners integrate into new societies regardless of gender, ethnicity, or nationality. For instance, if they have observed the local cultures, they can communicate and get on well with the neighborhood.
In short, I believe that immigrants are able to embrace their own cultures while also adjusting into the local society. This makes it possible for immigrants and natives to work together to create a peaceful, diverse community.
