While some people argue that art is important, others hold contrasting views. I side with those who feel that art is crucial because it can be a way to express feelings and develop creativity.
Firstly, despite common social perceptions that view art merely as a hobby, each artwork holds emotional significance, which can used by individuals to express their feelings. This results in people being able to produce or use artwork to communicate their feelings. For example, when individuals are feeling sad, they may find solace in listening to ballads or playing melancholic melodies on musical instruments. This is because numerous individuals struggle to articulate their emotions, but they can show them through art, such as music. As a result, they can cope with unhappiness quickly and are often inclined to positive emotions.
Secondly, making artistry will improve people’s creativity. This is because when people produce crafts, they usually compose them based on their imagination. Therefore, transforming imagination into good art requires a skillful hand. For instance, when sculptors make sculptures, they must determine their inspiration, like what object they want to sculpt, and imagine what it will look like. Moreover, they must carve the wood to resemble the shape they have designed. Consequently, if an artist conducts this procedure for an extended period, they will improve their ability to produce numerous ideas to create art pieces.
In conclusion, by forming an artwork, individuals will be able to process their emotions and gain the skill to implement their ideas. I, therefore, remain firmly convinced that art is an essential part of human life.
