People argue if pupils in school should choose only those subjects they would need in their future careers. However, others say that everybody should learn the same subjects.
In the modern day some schools make all their students study the same subjects. That’s not particularly correct as some students would not need all the given subjects for their futher live. However, some schools offer students to choose subjects they want to study or will need in the future career. For example, in my school “FSOT” – Future school of technology, in 11th grade pupils choose only 2 main subjects and 4 necessary subjects. That’s a great example of schools giving their students free will in topics they want to learn because pupils already learned all the basics of every subject and then they are given an option to choose what they want to study and bind their future with. Futhermore, if students learn more than 10 necessary cources they might suffer from too much home assingments and that can lead to them underperforming on subjects they need for their future.
In conclusion, in my opinion shools shouldn’t make students learn all the subjects. Instead they should give students an abillity to choose only those topics they want to study deeply. That would lead to them having a much deeper knowlege in subkucts they need.
