In recent years, the number of huge buildings being constructed in large cities. It is often argued by some individuals that, these new buildings should be designed by the government. However, others think , the owner of the land should have full freedom to choose the design of his building. This eassy will discuss both perspective along with my opinion.
On the one hand, some people thinks, if government designed the recent buildings, that city will be more systematic and looks more standard. In other words, if similar kind of buildings are in same area, it will become easier to find the particular shop or apartment. In addition, if foreigns visit our country or city, the architecture of the whole place looks attractive. For example, in city named Mysore, government has successfully exhibited the plan called ‘Smart city’. In that city, we can see all mobile shops in one particular area, car showroom in another area, all new apartments in other side of the city. Thus, this plan not just make people easy to search, also it boosts the architecture of the city. In my opinion, government should support this Smart city plan in other cities and countries.
On the other hand, some people argue they should have independence to choose whatever design they need, because they have invested in that area. Moreover, their residence may be near their new shop, making it inconvenient to travel long distances daily. Furthermore, they cannot risk their money, by constructing government design ideas, as some rely on the income generated by their building.
In conclusions, therefore, to some extent it’s true to be free to design their building, but I believe, in near future, buildings designed by government will help country to develop in many ways.
