Some people argue that it is advantageous to keep children in nursery school, while others believe that children should be kept at home with their guardians. In my opinion, I partially agree with both statements, considering the necessity of nursery school as well as the critical parental role in children’s development.
On the one hand, there are numerous advantages to sending young children to nursery school, as it provides a platform for them to socialize with others. They learn to make friends, communicate effectively, develop good habits, and express their feelings—all of which are essential for their personal growth. For example, when a child is kept in a nursery, they begin to be more sociable rather than isolating themselves at home, where parents might not give them sufficient attention due to their busy job schedules. In addition, character development is another significant benefit, as children begin to learn how to interact appropriately with others, respond to challenges, and tackle problems they encounter in daily life.
On the other hand, with proper guardianship, children can learn the importance of family by staying at home. Being with family members provides more safety and security. For instance, they do not have to face the issue of bullying at home, whereas in schools, they might encounter such problems. Furthermore, individualized care is more feasible at home, which is often difficult in schools. Children also tend to form stronger emotional attachments with their parents, grandparents, and other family members, ultimately contributing to a happy family environment.
In conclusion, while nursery school plays a vital role in enhancing a child’s social skills and personal development, it cannot be denied that children are safer and emotionally stronger when raised with family members. Striking a balance between both approaches could be the most effective way to ensure the overall well-being of children.
