Every country has a distinctive culture and set of customs. However, while some people believe that passengers to other countries do not have to follow local customs and culture, I agree with those who feel that tourists must respect the culture of the country they are visiting.
On the one hand, it could be argued that the host country must welcome different tourists from other cultural backgrounds. It is argued that everyone from any country has unique customs, culture norms and religious beliefs. So that they cannot change their cultures and religious beliefs with travel to any foreign countries. Moreover, some people think that if countries consider easier regulations for tourists, it would have the positive effect on tourist industry. Consequently, it leads to economy growth.
However, there are some arguments to suggest that passengers with different cultures should adapt themselves with customs and norms of the host country. In my opinion, it is a mark of respect to follow the traditions and customs of a foreign country. by not adapting to the local culture, it is possible to insult a local person and it leads to unpleasant situation. Moreover, the majority of tourists tend to have interesting experiences from cultures and customs of country the are visiting. As a result, I wholeheartedly believe that most of them willing to adapt to traditions and customs of those countries.
In sum up, although the prosses of adapting to other cultures is difficult and challenging, following the customs and norms of the host country is a sign of respect. Therefore, on balance, I strongly believe that all tourists should always follow the norms and customs of other country they are visiting.
