A group of individuals believes that history subject should be prioritized in school classes. On the other hand, some believe that subjects such as Science and technology are paramount. In my opinion, I completely agree that students should focus more on advanced subjects due to future matters.
In future-building perspective, this new generation needs advanced innovations that relay on engineering and research. Science and technology are affecting many aspects of life, such as productivity, environment, and health and care. Prioritizing the 2 important subjects leads to a significant improvement of life for most living beings, including animals and plants. Applying this viable strategy also develops students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skill due to how challenging the subjects are. Another bonus for the students is they might have an easier path when finding a job compared to students who study history; however, due to its challenge, it is not surprising that many students dropped out of their major and chose an easier one.
Learning history does have some benefits, but as a student and from what I believe, I don’t think learning history is worth it if we involve jobs and college tuition. By studying the past, we can learn some past mistakes, but in my studies, I think most of it are ludicrous due to the old laws. For instance, their strategy to find consumables that are edible, which is by sacrificing their own people. I would argue that this mistake is common sense, nowadays. However, I understand that some people find it interesting, I do myself find it interesting. Moving to how history affects students’ lives, personally, I think they will have a difficult life, especially in finding jobs that are related to their major. This problem stems from not having many jobs that involves history.
In conclusion, learning science and machinery are the key for future-development. History, however, does not really create an effect worldwide. Although there are no restrictions to learn it.
