It is thought by some individuals that animals can be used as a source of human’s needs, while others argue that exploiting animals for human purposes is wrong. Although this may have negative effects on the wildlife, I believe that humans should be allowed for this action.
On the one hand, first group assumes that this action can hurt the wildlife. The reason is that when humans overconsume some kinds of food or drinks, the group of animals which are responsible for producing them, suffer a lot. If this overconsumption lasts for a long period of time, these animals are likely to be endangered. This could lead to the extinction of these species in some circumistances which is not desirable for both the wildlife and the environment. For example, cows are likely to suffer if the consumption of milk increases since they are the only reliable source of milk.
However, animals are essential for humans to survive. This is because some of human’s vital needs like food can be provided only by specific types of animals. As living without these needs is less likely to be possible and there is no other reliable source for them, it is justified to allow humans for this action. A good example of this could be meat which plays an important role in every healthy diet especially for those who exercise and is produced only by sheeps and cows.
In conclusion, despite the potential harmful Impacts on some species, I maintain that humans ought to be allowed for the usage of animals.
